The photographs of Diane Epstein have been
widely exhibited in Italy, including at the American Academy, the Residence
of the Belgian Ambassador, John Cabot University, and Al Vicario 31 in Rome
and at Il Chiostro Boccarini museum in Umbria. The works of Epstein Photography
have been collected and exhibited by corporate and private clients worldwide.
Architect Fabrizio Magnaghi has selected
the photographs of Epstein to grace the walls of Rome Luxury Suites including
their newest boutique hotel, Babuino 181, next to Piazza del Popolo, which
will open in fall/ winter 2009. This permanent display will feature her
life-size works in their lobby, hallways and 12 luxury suites.
This year, in addition
to the inauguration of this permanent display, Epstein photography will
be exhibited at a solo show at the American Embassy in Rome during the month
of October, 2009.
Born in New York, Epstein moved to California
at an early age and spent her adolescent years living in London and traveling
throughout Europe. After University she went on to work for her family business,
collecting and photographing art and antiques throughout Europe and Asia.
Epstein attended graduate school at John F. Kennedy University in northern
California where she received her Master of Arts degree. Epstein continued
her journey when she moved to Rome in 1995 with her husband and two sons
where she became a prominent, fine art photographer. She also uses her in-depth
experience as a creative coach, leading individuals on photographic and
creative journeys in Rome and throughout Italy, assisting them to discover
their own artistic vision.
